Have you heard of “copyleft”? There really is such a term. It is a play on “copyright”. It is a form of licensing, also described as “viral”, “hereditary” or “reciprocal”. It allows copying, modification and redistribution as long as copied or adapted works are bound by the same copyleft licensing scheme. It also mandates that if the software is redistributed, the source code must be made available. Ok, the nocturnal roaches are coming up so it’s definitely time to head home.
